You know I was just looking through the freebies and and it hit me that I really had not even thought about trying for a shop credit.
Wonder how many more are doing that?

I think more people will be going for credit than you expect. I think the real best shot is going to be the swamp rat customs. Everyone is wow'ed by the big expensive stuff, but if you don't get starstruck there are some awesome EDC's to be had.

I'm still torn between the AD and a 225 shop credit to use on a Boss Street.

I'm not going to go crazy and go after the MOAB because to be quite honest it would end up sitting around for me to look at...not that thats a bad thing, but I think it should go to someone who has a use and will use it.

I'm leaning towards the AD but when time comes it will be a spur of the moment choice as to what I'll be getting. Though I'm still toying with going after a small shop credit choice as I don't think as many people will be going after it.

Then again many will be "playing it safe" and betting on people going after the knives and so they'll choose the shop credit and many people will be after that and a smaller number will be after the knives.

I think theres a simple way to go about this..."No Regrets"

Whatever first grabs your attention and desire go after that, don't play it safe and don't settle for less...Go after what you want and if you don't get it at least you tried for it.

Just so you know, no one has a use for the MOAB. If you want to fondle that bad boy, go for it!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
 
I have a feeling whoever wins the MOAB will end up keeping it in a safe... just a hunch though ;)

No I'm sure some people do have a use for it...The truth is at $2,300 that thing is worth more then my car and would take its place as the single most expensive thing I would own.

I just couldn't justify having that type of thing sitting around doing nothing so I'd just end up selling it, and as tempting as that is it should go to someone who would keep it and enjoy (IE "use") it.

AD is more of the size I need and would use a great deal, thus thats what I'm after or the 225 credit so I could get a boss street.

Then again I might just at the last second decide I really do have a use for the MOAB and try for that anyhow....:D but I doubt that I will
 
I don't think there will be that many going for the MOAB or the credits.
I have not seen hardly anyone say anything about the Dogs and Rats so they may be the ones to go for.
 
Lots of folks on the scrap yard forums sounded excited by the orange handled s5le... not so much the purple one :barf:

actually, if I had the money and they were offered the orange and the purple would make great gifts for non-knife type girls. I have a friend who asked for a knife, but it had to have a pink handle. I'm pretty sure she would have accepted purple. There is a market for such colors, it's just fairly niche.
