What to use to deordorize after gym?

We don't have showers..and lockers are only accesible for 5 minutes after gym class, you're not allowed in there after

Couldnt I just use regular Arm and Hammer deordorant? Thanks. I got a box of Old Spice wipes

Wiping with alcohol (diluted even) would help you cool off. Or the wipes, whatever.

Regular deoderant may not cut it. Try a gel version of Antiperspirant. Doesn't seem to get as 'grippy' as the dry stuff.

Good luck. I'm suprised anything besides an air conditioned room can keep an active guy sweat free this summer.

Man that sucks. I can't stand not showering after running or working out. I guess if I had to, I would bring my Axe with me or an unscented stick and a small bottle of cologne.

Yep, that is pretty typical for HS, at least in NY. I graduated about five years ago but I remember it pretty well. Lets make the class run a mile in the 80-90 degree heat and sun, make them do it in less than 10 minutes, and then go sit in class for the rest of the day.

The best you can do is put on some good deodorant and cologne in the morning and re-apply after gym.

You can get a prescription-strength antiperspirant like Certain Dri. I actually don't recall seeing it in a store, it may be behind-the-counter only. It can be ordered easily enough on the internet.

Certain Dri is applied at bedtime. It stays effective the next day.

Thanks again! I'm gonna try not to use anti perspirant that often, since I already got skin probs and swollen lymph node probs

Hi GarageBoy-

See a dermatologist about the skin irritations. The swollen lymph nodes are likely coincidental since we're talking about topical applications. Do everything you can do so you don't go through life stinky. I've seen brilliant people with B.O. passed-over for promotions due to their funk.

It is available OTC in drug stores easily enough. Chances are pretty good that a chain wouldn't carry the stuff, and even if they did there would be nobody to help you find it. If you go to your nearest independant pharmacy though I am sure they would be able to hook you up.

I used to eat a burrito a few hours before gym. The farts covered any rancid body odor. Always here to help my boy! :D

This won't help with the overall sweat smell, but the Thai "magic stone" works great for the BO in the pits. It is available in a stick form in a translucent purple container at most drug stores. Rather than keep you from sweating, it creates an inhospitable environment for the bacteria that create BO. No bacteria, no rank odor.

Alright, the baby wipes seem to be working fine! Unscented smells like a hospital, though. Then I hit up some TAG spray, wipe off and new shirt. All I can do in the 2 minutes I get to change

I'd second the magic stone, the one I have is called Pit Rock. It's a solid lump of Ammonium Alum, a natural mineral salt.It doesn't stop you sweating or block your pores, it isn't tacky or drying or any of that.It leaves a layer of the salt on your skin when wet under the tap and rubbed on like a stick deoderant. This salt layer kills the bacteria taht cause your sweat to stink.
Shave or close crop your armpit hair and use this stuff, and if your heading out with friends you can use whatever scent, aftershave lotion or body spray you like as the rock salt isn't scented in any way and won't clash with your choice of cologne etc.
