What Tool(s) Do You Use the Most On Your SAK?

Thanks for your testimonial, Brad. I've often considered getting a Cadet (or several - the variety of colors is a real draw), but the nail file seemed so worthless to me. But your post gives me some ideas about the nail file's potential. I think there's definitely a Cadet in my future! :D:thumbup::D

5K... The Cadet is really one of those things where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Do try it. I named my first Cadet "Culprit", because it was guilty of making me actually want to collect (the color thing you mentioned).

Here are two reviews that I think do a good job of expressing what's so good about the Cadet:

It's great if you can bond with the silver version, cuz then you don't have to worry about scuffs and scratches, but to me, this is the ultimate Cadet, and therefore the ultimate EDC pocket knife:

Thanks for the links, Brad; I enjoyed reading/watching the reviews. I have a silver Electrician and a black Pioneer (I really like the looks of the black alox), so just for the sake of variety, I'd probably get a red Cadet. The red alox seems very classic and old-school to me, and I wanna get me some! :D

Todays use was the can opener on my SwissChamp, kind of difficult at first but was easy to use once
I got the hang of it, Glad I get to enjoy my chicken dumplings in a can :D

Quite a few tools get regular use:
Prytool/Flat Screwdriver (some call it a bottle opener, I can't remember the last time I used it to open a bottle) - use this heaps.
Small flat screwdriver/Phillips screwdriver (some call it a can opener) - last night I tightened the handle on my frypan lid, Phillips screw.
Scissors - good for opening packets of food.
Sharp knife (all my blades are kept sharp) - useful for cutting stuff.
Toothpick - usually as a toothpick.
Tweezers - good for splinters or metal slivers.
File - grinding off some plastic or wood or fingernail.

The other tools only get occasional use, but it is handy having them available when I need them.
When camping I sometimes use the can opener to open cans.
