What tool/vic did you carry today?

These days I carry a Gerber Suspension at work and a Leatherman Surge at other times...works for me!:)

Vic Rambler. Used the phillips / cap lifter to help untie several knots and cut some string and and plastic strapping with the blade.

I EDC two: Leatherman Wave (original) on horizontal sheath on belt, Victorinox Manager (original) a rambler + safety blade + orange peeler in watch pocket.

I have my Gerber Sportsman Compact Multi-Tool on my belt. I find I use it more than any other cutlery I own! I also have a Scibeer-modified Vic Farmer with scissors nearby.

My Gerber is one I picked up over here in the PX back in 2005. It has pried the caps off of, literally, hundreds of 55-gal. fuel drums, opened up panels on aircraft, repaired and replaced screws and clamps, and wiring, has opened hundreds of boxes and packages, and is still going strong! The black finish is getting quite worn in places, but the multi-tool is as solid as ever! Some may not like Gerbers, but this one sure has provided great service!

My daily carry hasn't changed for a few years now... Vic Compact + Vic SwissTool X Plus! =)

Leatherman Juice S2. Usually carry a Supertool to work, but today I wanted to turn my can opener on my Juice into a decent reamer.

Carried a blue Vic Farmer.

Cleaned the blade and used it to cut strawberries and cucumbers, and opened a beer with it while grilling some steaks.

hey ive been looking into getting an electrician or electrician plus because i find the super tinker's 3 layers to be a bit much.

however, everywhere i look, i can't seem to find a site that tells me how many layers a sack has.. is the electrician/electrician plus 2 or 3 layers?

thanks :o

The Electrician is 2 and the Electrician Plus is 3. I am very fond of the Electrician Plus myself and have one with a pocket clip that I carry in my bag every day.

Nice one! Like the clip:thumbup::thumbup: I use saks with saws less since most of the multitools have saws already. The Electrician Plus is a great knife.
