Since I'm still sticking with Grateful's experiment, my old faithful precious is my Christmas knife, backed up with my little keyring classic.

The last gift I gave my granddad, for Christmas 1971, which I received back as a gift from my grandma the next Christmas, a couple months after he passed unexpectedly.

Schrade 708Y, recently made whole again by Glenn

Always a beauty Doug, love the sentimental attachment it carry's with it

Merry Christmas Doug!!!

that deserves a second look - Ken does glorious work.

Yes, it does - and yes he does. The old Schrade 882Y and 835Y knives are some of my favorites. This one takes it to another level. Love it!

Thanks guys, both for myself and on behalf of my "brother", Ken. His knives mean so much more to me than just appearance and the sum of their parts can portray, as I'm sure you already know.

Thank you Paul. I treasure it for the connection to a man who had such influence on who I am, and even more now for the beautiful work Glenn did on it.

Wonderful knives, Gentleman! I couldn't bear lurkin' any longer especially with this thread.
Here's my mini-Copperlock for Christmas day.....

This little Patton hunter is all I'm carrying today.

Life is good.

I suspected as much.
Hope all is well with you and yours.

I carried my Buck 110, even slipped out for an afternoon deer hunt and used it to dress and quarter a fat 5 point I got with my old recurve bow.

Well I carried my GEC Radio knife. Caplifter/Screwdriver saw most of the use. Used the screwdriver to adjust the scopes on both my boy's new air rifles (You'll shoot your eye out kid!). Caplifter saw use opening a Terrapin Hopsecutioner beer with dinner.

I also ended up grabbing my Jones Brothers puukko and my Victorinox red alox Farmer. Used them to carve two Spiktrollets for my In-laws.
