What type of belts?

Have a 1x42 Kalamazoo and am looking for some belts to grind A2 and 3V.
Already have some Trizac and Klinspor belts but am looking for something more agressive to do some heavy work.

Any suggestions?

Damn--more aggressive than Trizac or Klingspor? I don't know! 40 grit Klingspor and 80 grit Trizac usually do pretty well for me.

Well to be fair, I haven't tried the larger grit Trizac and Klingspor, only 240 Tri and 220 Kling. So maybe that's my problem!

It's been so long, where do you purchase your belts?

I usually get mine from Lee Valley.

36 or 40 grit Blaze.

Unfortunately, it looks like NO "Blaze" in 1x42!

A Mastersmith once advised me not to grind on a polishing belt. It takes too long and generates a lot of heat.
