What Type of Edge is Best for S30V?

I was just curious what type of edge would be best for my S30V Paramilitary 2, toothy or polished? Would I be better off stropping a 400-600 grit edge or polishing up to 9µ before stropping? I know each one has its pluses and minuses so please don't start a flaming thread on which one is better. :)

The edge depends on what you are using the knife for. I would go a little higher grit before stropping, it makes it easier to remove the burr. I learned this the hard way..........

I like a s30v toothy slicer, 9u 26* -> 1u 30* micro -> bare leather.

Like Ernie1980 posted, it depends on what you are using the knife for. I mostly cut paper with mine, so I sharpen on my EP at 30 degrees and finish with a 10K chosera, then strop.

It works great for my purposes. If I were cutting rope all day, I would probably go with a different edge.

JMHO,
Allen
