What type of epoxy to use for layering G10?

No, you don't want to use manure, it's a crappy adhesive.

I also have had good experience with acraglas. However, I'd like to point out that surface prep trumps everything.

edit:I was at a trade show a number of years ago and Scotch had their VHB tape where they had bonded a piece of steel to a piece of glass and then separated the two. There were still little shards of glass stuck to the steel, which I found impressive. I believe I heard that Chris Reeves knives uses VHB for some of their scales. Has anybody here tried it?

I looked into VHB for some things like scale inlays

The very thin films were only available in large rolls and couldn't get samples here in Canada

Maybe your sales rep will be better on getting you some samples?

VHB is the devil.

There are tons of different VHB tapes though, or at least there used to be.

I have a roll here that is actually just adhesive, no carrier, it is the stickiest stuff I have ever had the displeasure of using.

The only way the stuff I have would work is if you got it die cut to shape, which is what CRK does I believe.

I got it in 2000 for a project involving snowboards, I made a TON of these little aluminum stomp pads, and used the tape to hold them on the boards.

In 5 seasons, I lost 5 pads out of 100 or so on my personal gear.

Every one of those was a delamination of the board, the VHB did not fail once.
I just ripped the top layer of the deck off.
