What type of knife do you carry most? Folder or fixed blade? Auto, slip joint, assisted etc

Slipjoint. Other than the occasional opinel for a picnic or yard work, I haven't carried a locking knife in some time.

Well, it depends on how specific you want to get. Technically, I carry a slipjoint more often than anything else, but I also always carry a large, locking folder with it.

This would be better as a poll, but I have found that what I like to carry the most by miles is a frame lock on washers....

Ti lock side/G10 show side.
Blade length anywhere from 3.5 to 4 inches.

Almost forgot, what I like is pretty boring, I know, but it what feels good to me!

If I'm out and about wandering on the property I have a USMC Kbar stuck in my belt behind my back

I have a regular rotation of 3-5 locking (Axis, compression, liner & frame locks) folders, and I usually have my keys on me. So by default I most often carry my SAK Midnite Minichamp since it's on my keychain.

Mainly I carry an Alan Davis custom folder made to my specs. It is usually a folder even if not his. Folders are my favorites! :D Kevin

Folder(modern) with clip and one hand opening.
I usually have a slipjoint in the other pocket as well.

Small fixed blades or pocket brick folders i carry on a belt sheath. I very rarely carry 3" blade folders but will carry 3" fixed alot on neck or belt. Autos, assisted, axis, frame, lockback. Own very few and seldom carry slipjoints as cut myself often with them. Dont really care for linerlocks. Like variety and testing all the knives i have out so switch up daily.

99% of the time I have a locking folder on me, 3"+
Blade.

Even if I have a traditional or fixed blade on me, I almost always have a lock folder as well.

Titanium framelock usually, unless at the offices in the city, then it'll be a slipjoint or a Spyderco Air in a pocket slip.
