What type of knife do you spend the most money on?

I'm comfortable spending up to $200. I prefer 3" to 4" assisted open folders. I want knife I can carry with me every day and use all day long.
If I had a job that had made carrying a fixed blade or did a lot of camping, etc. that a fixed blade would be at home I would have more than just the couple I have.

Most of my money has gone to sprint run folders because I like trying out new steels, mostly Spydercos and some benchmades.

Any knife that I have researched, has LOTS of good reviews, durable, good brand, and will last longer than a day in the woods.
For example:
I just got a Benchmade Griptilian. Everyone talks about it, most people like the model, Benchmade was said to be good, it's hefty, and feels worthy of years of use.
My first Benchmade as well.
I'm impressed, and plan on owning others.
:)

The ones I like.

That being said, the price point for my EDCs is currently less then the price point for my "nice" fixed blades. Folders seem to run $400-$600 (Hinderer, Mosier, CRK), when some of the fixed blades can get up to the $800 range (Busse) or higher (Brend). I haven't yet started finding the higher priced folders (Mayo?, Laches?) that appeal to me.

Split back whittlers in traditional knives and Spydercos. Lots and lots of Spydercos all around the Rice property. I mean there are others too don't get me wrong but there are more of these two above than all the others combined.
