Do you think Santa carries?? Living up north I'm sure he carries a fixed blade of some sort and probably keeps a gb or wetterlings on the sleigh...also do you think he raise seperate reindeer for food?? or seperate elves for that matter?

Sorry but I'm home sick as a dog...thought I'd try to spread a little holiday cheer.
 
Great question.

I think that the easy answer would be a traditional scandi grind. Carbon steel, 4-4.5" blade, with a nice wood handle and reindeer antler spacers. Leather sheath with a ferro rod and a little jingle bell attached.

On the other hand, Grohmann makes a special snow knife expressly designed for making igloos. Might come in handy.

Then again, given the amount of flying we're talking about, you couldn't blame the guy for wearing a chest rig with a pilot's knife.

I dont know for sure, but if he anything like me hes loaded to the teeth in steel.:D

Hmm, tough question. Either a traditional scandi with reindeer antler handles ( :eek: :D ) or a Fallkniven S1. Tough choices, but probably the former.

I agree, minus the ferro-rod. He's totally got a traditional steel and flint combo. ;)

I like to picture my santa in one of them tuxedo t-shirts at a Lynard skynard concert rockin out to Freebird b/c he likes to party.

Well just think about a knife you really really wanted one Christmas, but never got...:eek::D Thats what he carries!

If I think about it, he probably has a whole selection..he might even be a member...waynorth, are you Santa?:p You sure do look like him:D
