just bought a caly 3 love it!!! although the finger position in the front is a little scary, very close to the extremely sharp blade. But my question is what type of sharpener should i get to keep that sharp, plus some other knives i have from benchmade. thanks

hard to go wrong with a sharpmaker. major bang for your buck IMO (I think I paid 45 bucks for mine) and they don't get much easier to use. even comes with instructions and a dvd

the sharpmaker is the shizz night but if you have to reprofile use anything else

The sharpmaker is a great sharpener if you're a beginner or aren't comfortable using a benchstone, but I've found that I can get a better edge from a bench stone. I use the Spyderco fine benchstone for general sharpening, for the curious. Still have my Sharpmaker, and it's a great tool. Works on SE edges, also.
