What % & types lockers are in your collection?

In my state fixed blades are 'out'. Since I'm a user they're all folders with various locks...... it's all good! :D

Well it looks like this for me;
1. 6 lockbacks
2. 5 slipjoints
3. 2 balisongs
4. 2 rollinglocks
5. 2 microbar locks
6. 2 framelocks
7. 1 axis lock
8. 6 liner lock

Then there are the assorted odd locking knife models I can not put name to. Not a large list, but it was fun collecting.

I have mostly frame-locks, just a few liner locks left and no lock-backs that I can think of. I have the odd axis, rolling and compression lock knife, and a few slip joints that get regular use, SAK's and a couple of case hobo's.

Folders

Axis lock - 19;

Frame Lock - 3;

Microbar® - 1;

Lockback - 7;

Rolling Lock - 2;

Liner Lock - 3;

80-90 Fixed blades. No accurate count yet...

I would say about 40% of my personal collection are lockers. The last time I checked I had over 100 in there, and I have added to them since.:D

well lets see... I own 12 knives total...

3 are fixed blades or 25%
1 is a Frame-Lock or 8.34%
1 is a slipjoint or 8.34%
3 are liner-locks or 25%
3 are lockbacks or 25%
1 is an axis-lock or 8.34%

so there, hah!

Here is how my one-blade folder collection breaks out...

Frame Locks: 7 (47%)
Frame "Liner" Locks: 4 (27%)
Frame Compression Lock: 1 (7%)
Frame Side Lock: 1 (7%)
Frame Lockback: 1 (7%)
Axis Locks: 2 (13%)
Rolling Locks: 2 (13%)
Liner Locks: 2 (13%)
Lockbacks: 2 (13%)

The rest of my folders are multi-tools of one sort or another. Roughly half of those have a locking blade.

Liner Lock: 1 (7%)
Lockbacks: 2 (13%)
Slide Locks: 2 (13%)
Side Locks: 2 (13%)
Slip-Joints: 8 (53%)

Overall the results look like this:

Frame Locks: 7 (23%)
Axis Locks: 2 (7%)
Rolling Locks: 2 (7%)
Liner Locks: 3 (10%)
Lockbacks: 4 (13%)
Slide Locks: 2 (7%)
Side Locks: 2 (7%)
Slip-Joints: 8 (27%)

I also have 8 fixed blades.

I guess the conclusions to be drawn from this are that a) I like frame locks :), and b) I worry less about the type of lock than the particular implementation of it.
