Welcome to the site. You need to read the rules and stickies at the top of the forum. You're not allowed to ask about value at your membership level. Feel free to discuss the knives but no discussion of value please.

Thanks

Jason

You have quite an interesting collection from norther India/Pakistan/Afghanistan/Nepal... Well up that way. Probably made for tourists and possibly 1930's??? Possibly later. Non have all that much value but still worth a few bob. I like the long Kukri, though its not actually a Kukri but I forget the name. The two knives that come with it are correct and suggest an actual working village tool; nice one. The rest made from all sorts for tourists. I think there are a couple of converted bayonets in there. A baton stick is always interesting.

Anyhow not complete rubbish. Hopefully others can give some real detail. Better picture will help. Don't give up your day job.

I'm not sure what a "bob" is but you can't discuss values. See above about the rules. That is a privilege some members pay for.

Could Phixt mean that he OP's uncle was very selective and liberal about the knives when he gathered that collection? Weird.

Interesting knives, Emanuele97, I'd like to see some closer photos as well! Particularly the narrow black one third over from the right.

Beats me. But it is a fun set of, apparently, lower quality knives representing several Asian knife making traditions.

I would not use them, but I would enjoy having them, and if I really liked them, they might inspire me to research those styles of knives, and maybe buy higher quality versions.

Sirupate is a long narrow leaf that grows in Nepal, kukri with narrow blades are called Sirupate. Some are average length some quite long
