Actually makes a great fertilizer.
Dilute 5:1 and apply to any plant life. The
nitrogen in the ammonia is a shot of food to the
plant.
Learned that as a kid from an old man next door. Had the best looking roses in town. (of course I didn't want to ask about the Sh**house lillys secret..)
Also can be used as a source of moisture for solar stills.
It can be used to get you to a gas station when you run out of gas. by introducing some (the less the better) liquid into your tank, you raise the level of gasoline above the intake nozzle, allowing your car to run a LIMITED distance. When you get to the gas station, toss in a bottle of Dry Gas to remove the foreign "moisture". This is for dire situations, but does work.

I think that this thread is legit.
My grandfather used to say that peeing on a blister on your hands would toughen the skin quickly (the ammonia maybe?). YMMV with this one. I'm not too keen on peeing on blisters because of the risk of infection, but I thought it was worth a mention.

actually unless you have a urinary trat infection urine is steril, though poiseness, I have heard of letting it go stale and then using it a amonia to bleach things. i have also heard that in combinatination with some rare eath minerals it can be used to make electricity. Of course you can use it to mark your terratory, put out the camp fire (epscially when water is scarce and dry brush is not) and i gues it could replace hydraulic fluid if needed in a part or machine.

Well this is fact: Native People in the amazon and Africa, when working with either curare or other lethal poisons accidentally brush against them or nick or cut themselves, they urinate on the wound which nutrilizes the poison.
Also if you ever cut yourself in the woods and no meds are available you can sterilize the wound by urinating on it. Urine is the most sterile liquide (from its source).
