What valve for press

Ordering up some hydraulic stuff for my press. What vavle is best? Detents? Spring return to neutral?

I use an open center, single spool splitter valve with spring return to center. It also incorporates an adjustable pressure setting.
I got mine from surpluscenter.com, which I have to found to be cheapest for many things, especially hydraulics.
It is a simple valve to install and use, and can easily be adapted to foot pedal use. I believe mine is Prince brand.
