What W&SS gear did Santa bring you ?

I got a F&S 0degree Mummy bag ( :D ), an Life' Good Long Sleeve shirt, quoting JRR Tolkien "All who wander are not lost", and that's about it. Its more about the giving than the getting for me.

Lady got a new custom purple leather sheath and a RR firesteel for her knife kit. My oldest got an Izula, my littlest one got a Daisy Model 10 BB gun, and I got one of the greatest gifts I have ever been given. A chance to co-instruct a woodland survival class with Randall's Adventure Training. So, yeah, I'm good, real good this year.

Moose

2 Blind Horse bushcrafters
Spyderco G-10 bushcraft
2 sets micarta scales for Beckers
Remington 870 pump
3 Sharpshooter sheaths

... and a couple of pairs of socks :foot::foot:

:D

Some sort of Marmot wind shell jacket. Didn't fit the best, so we returned it today. The next size up was too big, so I changed brands to a similar Patagonia design.

Also received a nice light down jacket, and another 32oz Nalgene bottle.

My son and daughter bought me the sweet BK-9 at the top of this pic...

My girlfriend gave me Wildwood Wisdom by Ellsworth Jager (great book!), a cool burlap foraging sack, an amazing handmade scarf, and some non-outdoorsy gifts. My mom & dad gave me a sweet German-made pocket vest (brought back from a trip over there:thumbup:), and this Victorinox Swiss Champ. This knife has EVERYTHING! Plus, I love the see-through red scales.

For W&S gear, i got nuffin' which is actually pretty great. I like to be surprised but I'm also pretty darn particular about my gear so it's not like anyone would know what to get for me or how to ask. I'd hate to get a bit of gear that I didn't really want or need and then just have it sit in a drawer because I feel too guilty to give it to someone else. I'd rather buy my loved ones what they want and then save up and get myself a few things later on.

No family,so I got myself a BHK Maveric Scout off the exchange.
Thanks tknife,sweet knife.

Glad you like it

My wife got me a cool gunmetal colored Sigg water bottle and the Ritter RSK5. I have never been a fan of tiny knives, but this one always appealed to me. I've used it a little around the house and it seems like I can hold it pretty securely with the lanyard.

She also got me a Panasonic Lumix ZS6 camera that I've been lusting after. Not really W&SS related, but I do take tons of hiking/outdoors shots. I just have to figure out all the bells & whistles. But it really takes some nice shots and has a 12X zoom as opposed to the 3X my Sony camera has.
