What Warranty do you Offer?

Thanks for all the input guys. I decided to offer a no questions warrenty. Being a hobby maker reputation and world of mouth is very important to me so I think an unconditional warrenty is also important. I mainly do kitchen knifes so I'm not too worried about blade breakage, mostly water or dishwasher damage.

I offer a life time, I guess maybe I am lucky. Never had one returned for warranty work in 30 plus. Refurbishing yes, at no charge. I sell to my good friends an there good friends. An yes thay are repeat ,but do not advertise here or any were, that's not why I am here.the people I sell to know that I am serious about what I do an thay are serious about what they do. I am not a hardware store that sells prybars

Good on you! Not to worry though, sooner or later some one will break one if ya make enough. Just fix it.

From the experiences of the "experienced" makers, it seems like you don't get many returns due to abuse/misuse. The thinking of "just fix it" certainly goes a long way when it comes to word of mouth.
I had a 11 year old Krauss faucet go south recently. Called em up for a replacement cartridge for it. Asked for 2 cartridges because I have two of these faucets in my house. Expected to pay for the parts and shipping....they sent it to me for FREE! I have told a lot of people about Krauss now and I will go out of my way to buy their brand in the future.
