What was the last Buck knife you bought for yourself??

I just got it off fee-bay. As soon as I get it and clean it up, I'll post before and after shots

Just picked up a 143 Paklite this afternoon. The last one before that one was a Raven Legacy. $175 for the Legacy and $19 for the Paklite is quite a price range on two Buck knives.

For the hunting purpose are these two fixed blade.
These two are my preferable knives for outdoor and hunting.

Great choice! :thumbup::D

Colt6731,

My last Buck bought was also a 143 PakLite Skinner - <$20 with s/t from WallyWorld and preceded by my 895 Simonich Raven Legacy, too. I may call the C.S. for my next goodie... I need an S30V/NS/walnut 110.

Stainz

I bought a 112 Ecolite without the brass liner [Destructive test knife] for my Rare/odd/proto/1of1 112 collection..

I hope this is acceptable as its not a knife . But this past weekend at the knife show I was displaying my Buck knives at . I was able to purchase a early two line (Buck usa) 106 axe with original sheath . No box or paperwork . DM :) :)

Close enough, I think.

So i got my Buck 110 modded by STR...now it has a pocket clip and a thumbstud!

THANKS STEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good looking thumbstud mod:thumbup:

yeah its kinda tricky to use, but after i toughen up my thumb a little it should be a breeze. I also need to put some tufglide on the pivot area. The pocket clip is a must for anyone with a buck 110 who actually wants to use it (like I did). The outlook on future pocket time has just increased exponentially!

Two Buck 110's for gifts & a Buck/Strider for myself (couldn't help it) . . ;)
Be safe.

Small Vantage Pro. Love the blade. My first S30V blade. After initial sharpening (which was needed) I carried it for the last 4 months daily. Its been used daily for boxes, packaging, stripping cable, cutting cable, etc. I even cut heat shrink off of 4"X 7" galvanized tubing one day. This thing is still VERY sharp. Great knife that locks up tight.

Fritz,

I'd really like to hear your opinion on that folding ergo pro. Could you do a review? I don't think one has been done yet. Thanks g

I love it Gordon:thumbup: I really havent used it much except cutting string for school stuff labels off of soup cans, opening mail and so forth. I had a big paragraph written but deleted it until I take some additional angle shots to show contours better. I'll try tonite.
