what was the oddest thing you have ever used your knife for?

Strangest thing I've done is use two SAKs corkscrews to tighten the recessed tang nut (the kind that has a flat-head slot with a hole for the tang in the middle) of an old German Eye hunting knife for a customer. Stuck the knife tip-down in a dart board on the floor, stuck the end of each corkscrew in the ends of the slot and twisted real hard! It worked!

Hehe, when I got my Kershaw Chive, I read about how they are shave sharp, well i was growing in my first moustache, and I decided to shave it with the knife, and It was one close shave!

I used my Vic Pioneer to cut out the side window out of my friends truck after it shattered for no reason. Butchered the tip but it sharpened up nice.

A number of years ago I worked in a materials lab. One of the things we did was to make sheets of a modified silicone rubber bonded to a stiff mylar backing. I used to use the spey blade of a stockman to trim the edges of the rubber so that the finished sheet was the same dimension as the backing.
