What was your first Becker?

BK-15. First and only. It's perfect for me and probably won't get another. Unless maybe the 17. See, that's addictive talk right there!

My first was an 11 - then the 17 - then the 7 - then I thought I've lost my 11 and bought another one (turned out my gf "borrowed" it for garden work - now she's got her own :D) and well the 14 is on its way:)
 
Camillus-era BK-11 necker; bought it shortly before they went belly-up. I have a Ka-Bar now, too.
 
I can remember that day like yesterday, I walked into knife centers office (when it was still in MD.) Briefly spoke with the sales rep and explained I wanted a heavy duty knife that wasn't gonna break (I was just coming off my third broken Gerber), but also less than $100. He said I think I have something you might like, he disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a box. I'm watching as he opens it up and introduces me to the Becker bk2, I gotta admit it was love at fIrst sight. I stood there admiring its beauty, once it was in my hands I knew it was the one...Then I brought it home and beat the hell out of it.
 
My first was my bk17 but that was followed quickly within a few days extra of shipping time with my bk2 .... Since then I've added another 10 to the collection haha

After I bought my bk2. I started buying beckers like a mad man. Now I have so many it's hard ta pick a favorite

I bought a bunch shortly after my first 2, but due to economical reasons I had to part with em and my other knives awhile back, keeping food on the table for my kids was more important. The only one I couldn't bring myself to sell was my 2.

I've been slowly acquiring another collection of knives and so far have picked up another 2 and a 9. I still plan to get a 1 (if I can ever good find one and I have the funds to buy) 4, 7, another 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, & 24.
 
The BK11 and it drove me to the bottle. I used to drink out of cans, but now I have an opener!
