I’m in the process of moving and just found my first BM (942) from about 13+ years ago LOL

I loved this knife when I first got it, and still rank the 940 between my #1/2 position - go figure.

Anyways, post you’re first BM & pics if possible!

Original AFCK in ATS-34 steel. Got it in the early to mid 90's? but really not sure exactly when as it was so long ago.

Carried that knife for many years. Still have it somehow and it is among my most cherished knives.

My first BM is a 553SBK. Probably the least favorite BM I own and hardly gets any pocket time. I prefer many of the other BMs I own.

mini-AFCK was my first, over 15 years ago. Then I got the full size version to go with it.

585S Mini-Barrage, still a current model. Took me a LONG TIME to decide to get into Benchmades.

Just got into knives a few years ago searching for my first EDC and it led me to Benchmade and the 707.

AFO 9050. Issued it while in the service circa 2005. Unfortunately, it was stolen while I was deployed.

Pacific cutlery #140 got used in '91. It's in storage now, probably not ever bringing it out.

I was given a custom 551 as a wedding party gift 3 years ago and I haven't bought a different brand since...

I had a 350 in the late 90's that I gifted to a friend. The second Benchmade I owned, I still have. Picked it up while visiting my grandparents in Columbia Falls, MT.

My first was a BM/Emerson Spec War CQC7 like a year ago. Now I have a lefty Spec War CQC7, OD Mini Grip, Black full Grip, HK Monochrome, and HK Enigma. All in all, I love them all except the full Grip. The handles feel hollow and cheap (the OD Mini handles feel great though, but I think they are grivory).
