  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

what was your first custom???

First custom was a Dusty Moulton Hideout that my wife bought me a long time ago. It`s one of the few I`ve kept. It`s the one on the bottom.

Mineral Mountain Hatchet works white river bowie. I love that thang!

I don't have a custom knife.

...other than the one I'm making for myself out of a broken machete blade...I need to finish the scales, but the last time I was at a hardware store they didn't have the kind of bolts I wanted.

I really like Breedan's stuff though, and hope to own one someday.

My first custom knife was by Paul Sarganis which he made out of my own sketch.. It was an 8" bladed Nesmuk style. I bought it back in 1999 before I started making my own knives.. I don't have it anymore because I messed around with it and turned it into something else. IIRC, the maker told me it was heat treated by Howard Clark. I should have saved that knife:(
