The first knife I can remember owning was a slim, all-stainless slip-joint penknife with a bail--unknown make or country of origin. I was maybe 7yrs old.

My favourite Spyderco is probably the Delica 4...

Beside the ever present SAK that I had in Army Cadets. I would have to say that my first real knife was a Swede by Normark, then I got the SUPER Swede and felt like the king of the hill ! Being young I lent the Super to a guy at work. Later that day I saw that the freaking tip was snapped off ! The usual denials, dunno what happened,......whatever. I guess it still bugs me. :D I don't think that they've been sold in Canada for many years now.

My first knife was a Victorinox classic SD when I was 5. When I was growing up I always wanted this orange back lock knife that looked like a Buck 110. Dad wouldn't buy it because it was too big at my age. I did get a smaller version of the 110 though, I think a ranger. I'm 30 now and while I cant find or even remember the maker of that orange back lock I bought my favorite Spyderco and favorite knife ever, an orange Military.

My first REAL knife was a Buck 110 carried on the belt through High School and College. I don't have a favorite Spiderco, but I do have a favorite Spyderco. :p It is probably my Ti-Military.

First knife was probably an Old Timer traditional, a gift from my Dad. I cut a deep gash in my hand probably twenty minutes after receiving it. I still remember him taking it away.

My favorite Spyderco is the Jens Anso Zulu.

My first knife was a small stockman with imitation abalogne scales. And my favorite Spyderco is my newly acquired Para 2. I went with the black on black version. Aside from a small amount of side to side play it's perfect.

First knife was my Grandfather's 1940's Victorinox SAK that he gave to me when I was 6. I'm not sure if I have a favorite Spyderco, but if I did, it would probably be a Delica. I wanna pick up a Manix 2 though.

My first knife was a black SAK, Victorinox, I believe - I still have it, but would have to dig it out of the "emergency preparedness" pack to check on maker & model. Got it when I was about 12 or 13. That makes it almost 30 years old.

The first knife I actualy bought, was a Kershaw Chive with the SS handle. I was completely fascinated by the AO. I cycled that thing for hours. Think I replaced the Speed Safe torsion bar 2-3 times. I even got my nickname engraved on it. To this day it is still the only knife I own with Bobus X on it lol. The blade rubs the liners really bad now, so I don't carry it anymore, but I will never get rid of it.

My favorite Spyderco is without a doubt my UKPK Foliage Green g-10 Leaf Blade. Razor sharp, opens easy, legal even in the UK, great pocket clip, grippy but not pants shredding, safe slipjoint that is super easy to close, and hyper ergonomic handle. Only my recent Benchmade kick has knocked it out of my pocket, and I still carry it in my backpack almost everywhere I go. It will be a cold day in hell before I get rid of that one.

My first knife was a Camillus Stockman that my grandpa gave me for Christmas when I was six or seven. I haven't decided which Spyderco is my favorite. I have several and they are all superb knives. However, I think I'm leaning toward the Paramilitary 2, but the Caly 3.5 might be a close second.

My first "real" knife was a Benchmade Mini-Griptillian. My favorite Spyderco is my Endura4 FFG Purple.

The first real knife I purchased and still own is the Benchmade Griptilian. My favorite Spyderco has to be the "Mouse" because it doubles as a nice little money clip.

Bought my first knife when i was 8. It was an Imperial "KampKing". I still have it, it has been through hell and it looks like it. My favorite Spyderco is a Delica 3, OD green with black blade. regards Henry

My first knife was an Old Timer Barlow that my dad made me pick at a place called Eagle army navy.
I'm sure I resented it because I didn't pick it.
......of course I miss it now.
I own about a dozen Spydercos, with a Leaf Storm on the way, but my favorite is a Bob Lum that my wife bought me for the first father's day after my son was born.

I remember hiding the accidental cuts my little schrade gave me; I told my mother that I was old enough for a knife! I've only owned a endura and a delica. Delica wins by a long shot. Never fell in love with the endura.
