What was your first knife? Here's mine

My very first was a Sodbuster from Herder Solingen.
The very same like my Dad and Granddad always carried.
The ones with the thick wooden scales that felt like a piece of 2 by 4 in your pocket
I guess I was about 10 or 11.

ya'll will forgive me for posting this pict again This is it the one that started this all back in '83-84... Was my grandads 1970's Camillus #26 2 bladed hunter and a sheath a family friend made for it back then...
Aside from a little bladeplay on the main and the dented bolsters and faded blade etch (picts dont show much of the character), she's perfect, pretty darn huge too
and its amazing i still have it:thumbup:
