I was just looking back at my early posts, God I asked some stupid questions.

Anyway my first post was in Bernard Levines forum, here's the link, click here, it was about a Buck Titanium I had.

What was your first post?

Here's mine from 2/20/2001:

"CRKT KFF question
Hi, everybody, this is my first post. First, a quick thanks to all the people who post here. I have been so busy reading all the great info here and trying to absorb it that I haven't had time to post. Anyway, I have a question regarding the CRKT Crawford Kasper Folder. I recently purchased the small combo edge, and liked it so much I purchased the large plain edge model as well. My question involves blade play. The small model is rock solid, both with and without the LAWKS engaged. The large model, however, has just the tiniest amount of blade play-- when open, I can vigourously grasp it at the tip and feel, but not see, a bit of blade movement-- it't that slight. Is it normal to be able to induce a minor amount of blade play by hand with vigorous pressure? This only occurs when i really try hard to move the blade; otherwise, it is very solid. I tried adjusting the blade pivot torx fastener, but even a tiny bit of tightening makes the blade extermely stiff to open. I feel like I am just nit-picking, but wonder if this is something normal or if it is worth sending the knife back to CRKT. Is this blade play just the result of the size of the large model? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated."

Checked my profile, looks like my early posts were lost in a server move/consolidation. I'm sure it was something like"why would anyone pay over $300 for a knife?!?"

While looking back, it's interesting to see the evolution of a knife knut as seen through the eyes of the forum.

I believe mine was in the Spyderco forum asking the difference between the two different zytel styles of Dragonfly. It was soon followed by a question about which was better: the pegasus or navigator. Needless to say, I'm still obsessed with Spyderco!

My first post was in late 2001 and it was about a Schrade 204s that I have. How long has the Schrade forum existed here? 'Cause I can't figure for anything why I posted my question where I did at the time.

My first post was also a question in Bernard Levines forum. I had no intention of hanging around because I was not an all out knifenut at the time.

My first post was in the "What was the cheapest knife you've ever carried?" Thread. I even talk about you, T. Erdelyi

"Hmmm...The Cheapest I carried was probably when I carried around a promotional my dad got from a mechanic. My most loved cheap knife was a 20 dollar Tinker. Most expensive were the Cybertools, and the best value was my 40 dollar Gerber AR.

T.Erdelyi...is that your real name or are you a Ramones fan? Their old drummer was Tommy Erdelyi...sorry...I'm one-track minded...."

Man, I had to do a search just to remind myself of what my first post was about. It took a couple of minutes to find all my posts!

My first post was a question asking about the merits of BG-42 compared to ATS-34. Not very exciting.

OH NO!Keith you didn't do a search for all your post did you.The server will be running slow for a week now.Just think of the sparks and smoke that was come out of it.

No, I think you asked me this once before, hey what was the name of the album that had all the tombstones, I freaked out the first time I saw T. Erdelyi on a tombstone.

BTW the T. stands for Tibor, everyone calls me Ted though.
