Interesting thread. Made me go look. 5/19/00 in the Auto forum I asked for opinions on the Wayne Clark custom Duke for sale on blade auction. Did not end up buying it. Wish I had.

Not sure if my original thread is what is listed, but the oldest one I found was initiated by me and ended by me, because no one else got in on it:eek:

I know exactly what it was. A Knives, WTB post in the Exchange for REKAT Hobbits. I actually got several replies and was able to pick one up through a dealer in L.A. working a gunshow with the help of a forum member who took down the dealers info and sent it to me in an email. I can't seem to find it for some reason but I still have that email saved. A great Bladesforums.com first experience.
