I'd been following this one for a few days before I registered, then I just went and jumped in with both feet. Incidentally signing up on bladeforums was one of the first things I ever did on the internet.

I know exactly what it was. A Knives, WTB post in the Exchange for REKAT Hobbits. I actually got several replies and was able to pick one up through a dealer in L.A. working a gunshow with the help of a forum member who took down the dealers info and sent it to me in an email. I can't seem to find it for some reason but I still have that email saved. A great Bladesforums.com first experience.
