What watch dial color do you suggest for our upcoming wrist watch?

Can you do a reverse lum? Black numbers with white dial but make the white dial all lum. If not I would say maroon dial.

To be honest as our parent company is a long time Lum-Tec dealer we thought of doing a reverse lume but the cost is high and as a dealer those models have always been a tough sell so we ruled that out. Maroon is something I have thought of. If the series does well we may actually end up offering these in several dial colors in the next 12 to 24 months.

Here are some additional renders we have just got in. I believe out of this the best bet is the white dial version.

Some additional renders of our upcoming model. While this version would not have a luminous dial the hands would be luminous.

While this color will no doubt appeal to many. We plan on saving this for a future production.

I'll agree Thomas, the balck/grey case with a white dial is nice, I'd still like to see a grey face though...

I am not a huge fan of white dials but if I were going to go that way I like the one with the black outline hands.

The black and blue both look great. Olive drab might be good.

Olive drab looks really good in my view and we may just go with it. The idea with the white is to go with a safe main stream color I suspect that would be the dial color which would appeal to more woman compared to the others but I could be dead wrong. =)

Hey Thomas, is a deployment clasp as an option a possibility on these? I know it's supposed to be an entry level model, but a deployment clasp is a buy/not buy feature for me--perhaps as an option?
I'll probably order one of the first run variants, but will eagerly await one in Grey!

We don't plan to offer a deploy as we as a retailer are now seeing very little demand for them. Most of our customers are believe it or not. Not watch enthusiasts at all which to be honest has really shocked us. At any rate we found most of our customers just don't like them. So we are going to leave the choice up to the customer who can then source the exact type they want from the aftermarket.

Personally I can't find one that does not dig in on my wrist.

We may offer versions with metal bracelets but we really were planning on holding off and adding those later.

Here is what our game plan and hope is for these models.

Basically we are trying to come up with the 3 dials in a total of 6 versions. Each dial would have a brushed SS and a black PVD version. We are trying to come up with dial colors that we think will be the best sellers to start with. Then we plan to kick the series off with a crowd funding effort on say Kickstarter in the first quarter of next year.

I am thinking the MSRP will be $299 and we will pre sell at something like $240. The hope is that we can get solid traction for these then expand as we go be then adding other dial colors, SS bracelets etc. In playing with things behind the scenes its become clear that dials in an array of colors seem to look good with this design.

We hope this smaller lower priced model will appeal to those who have wanted a smaller model such as woman who like a large watch, and men that prefer an old school size watch. Which is pretty much the same size as it turns out. =)

We are also starting to see people who are serious watch collector types starting to swing back to smaller sized watches. The hope is that we will then be able to sell about 100 more of these per year than we do of our higher priced models in 2015. We think we might be able to sell 300 of this smaller series in all in 2015. We believe this series will basically almost double the amount of money we are be able to raise for charities that help veterans.

Good intel, Thomas--I obviously didn't (wouldn't) know that. I would definitely look for an aftermarket deploy clasp. Good luck with the project!

I really like the look of that ash brown, sort of like bronze or copper.

Yellow is supposed to show up on black the best. If you could get yellow lum it might be nice for an option with strong contrast
