What watch do you wear in the field?

I picked up a Timex expedition on clearance at Wal-Mart. I think there are different models in the expedition line. I got one that is olive drab with A rotating bezel used with the sun to tell direction. It has the indiglo and says water resistant to 30m. I have had it about 4 months and it is ruined. The direction markers on the bezel have all worn off. The crystal is badly scratched, band is starting to fray around the edges. Also the little wind/ set time knob broke off. It still keeps good time, but tonight at 2 am we switch to daylight savings time. I can't set it so...I am off to go watch shopping. I just can't decide to get digital or regular...

What's the best folk dance for my monkey?

I have a Zodiac red point sports watch that I wear in the field when hunting. But I have a Timex Expedition I wear for work, and I do alot of cement work and its always in the water with the trowels and it has never quit on me it is a very tough watch..

Hey guys haven't posted in this forum in about four months. I currently wear a casio databank 150 all the time (not at home) it's not bad but I'm starting to lean more towards analogs. my next watch will probably be a Luminox (probably the 3/4 sized ones) but the color is uncertain.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

I have a couple that I wear. I either wear my Luminox Navy Seal Dive watch, my Citizen Thunderbirds watch, or my Chase-Durer Special Forces Air Combat Team Watch. I like the Luminox and Chase-Durer the best though because of the Tritium inserts on the hands and face (glows super bright). The Thunderbirds watch is good, but I only wear it when I'm timing a run or when I'm hiking.

I had a timex expedition a few years ago. On a fishing trip I tested it's water resistance by hooking it to my pole with a sinker and letting it drop to about 200 feet. The watch came back up fine. It was rated to 100m so it should have been ok. Now I have a G-shock, much heavier and bigger, but stronger as well.

I just bought another G-Shock, Just cant get enough of these things...Nothing wrong with the ones I had I just had to get this one because it has the added feature of a tele-memo...I can get all the names and numbers I ever call into it.

Cost was $100 ,It is the G-Shock Mesh G-File.

Ive killed my share of Timex and others costing 2-3 more than a G-Shock....If you want one that wont break...Get a G-Shock!!!

The Timex Expedition watches are the best for the money. Spending twice as much won't get you a watch twice as good.
