What watch do you wear?

For those times when you want to maintain a low profile...

What kind of watch is the one with orange numbers?

I like it!

Not at night, when it's overcast, or in a storm.

True, but unless you have a flashlight, the other comapass is not going to offer much at night either.

It is better than nothing, but I find that a compass of that size has very limited value.

As far as watches go, I'm done. That Rolex is the end for me.

I want to get a Rolex or Omega (Some nice brand/watch that I really like, I suppose) and stick with that. Those Apple Watches and Pebbles don't really appeal to me.

Among watch enthusiasts, this is called "one watch nirvana", and it does not exist. Just like knife enthusiasts can't own just one knife, watch enthusiasts can't own just one watch, although I have fewer watches than I have knives.

It's a Blancpain 50 Fathoms homage (Aqua Lung 1000), built by Dennis Rudy in NC with an ETA 2824 movement. I don't think that he's doing them any longer as his website has been 'offline for maintenance' for several months.

Nice collection.

LOL, I guess I'm not a watch enthusiast.

For 5 years I wore a Citizen BM7080-03E as my one and only. If you're hardcore into collecting there's no such thing as The One. But ordinary folks do it all the time. One nice gift watch or one nice watch they buy for themselves. Sometimes not so nice, but they get tricked into believing it is.

I do not consider myself one either (just like I am not a car enthusiast), but when I see a nice example of either, I find myself taking notice.

I have a few watches that some would consider to be fairly nice, but I rarely wear them. I find myself slumming it with mostly plastic watches that have a lot of functions. shrug

Not sure why but I always thought you were wearing your Date Just pretty often?
