  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

It's nice when everything matches.

Great watch...What's the second crown for?

The second crown is a bezel lock.

In some forms of navigation, accurate time and time keeping are necessary for accurate navigation, so instead of hacking the movement (stopping the movement) to sync the watch with a secondary time source or a time signal, the seconds (or minutes) on a Weems navigation watch are synced with the bezel. After syncing the watch, the bezel is locked with the second crown. The time is then read with the hours and minutes from the dial and the seconds from the bezel or the hour from the dial and the minutes from the bezel (depending on how you synced the watch).

The Omega Weems is truly a tool watch vs a fashion accessory.
