What watch do you wear?

"Bond" Casio AE1200WHD-1A

Can't resist another $20 watch. This is a traveler's watch: four time zones with a manual DST switch for each zone, five alarms, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and a calendar through 2099. And it is Casio's homage to the Seiko G757 5020 Sports 100 worn by Roger Moore in Octopussy (1983).

These are actually custom end links that eliminate the gap between the case and the strap.

Thanks, Drudge. I'd seen Everest's straps and end links but I much prefer yours.

Theirs looks like something I could make myself with notching pliers.

Hirsch makes curved end leather straps which I've read nothing good about.

I do not wear a watch, please instead accept this very short story.

The only time I did, and only watch I ever cared about was given to me by my grandfather. Grandparents took me to the airport to return to school - and when he realized I didn't own one, or know when to board my plane; he took the one he was wearing off of his wrist and gave it to me. I wore that one out. The gesture still resonates about 25 years later.
