This particular color (gray) is out of production, but Casio still makes the WS220 in black with positive and negative displays. It is their cheapest solar powered watch: wait for a sale and buy one for $17.49.
I own about 60 watches ranging in price from a few hundred dollars to $7000, but none that I would consider expensive watches..as I consider those to start in the $100,000 range and go up from there! Here are a few of my favorites.
The watch with the King Snake is a Gucci , and the dial is embroidered and was around $1000. The pocket watch was inexpensive.I think a Majestic, that I bought because I like see through dials. The Skull watch is a limited edition Bell & Ross..about $7000. The watch with the Sheriff’s Star dial is my retirement watch from the Sheriff’s Office, a Seiko, and is the most expensive watch I own! Cost me 36 years of my life!
Cheers,
Citizen
I own a few watches and my favorite is Citizen PMD56-2951. Titanium case, sapphire glass, 200 meters of water resistance, and very accurate solar movement that I can synchronize with my phone. I put it on NATO strap and it weighs only 2 ounces.
I traded my Blue Bond 2541.80 for the 2264.50 above. It has a Planet Ocean bezel installed. It turns much, much easier than than the scalloped SMP bezel. The independent hour hand makes it a great travel watch.
Homage to the Ingersoll Midget, WW1 trench watch manufactured by Waterbury Clock Co. which became US Time which became Timex. Note the wire lugs brazed onto a woman's pocket watch case.
The cream colored dial is correct for military watches of this period — not for this particular model — but Timex INDIGLO® works better with a light colored dial.
My daily wear is one of the really rare Ebel at the time MCS was completely giving them away. It is a special watch because the movement was completely in house. Now Ebel only makes quartz afaik.
