What watch do you wear?

I have a Pulsar stainless steel that is about 40 years old...my "dress" watch, battery operated and keeps excellent time. Otherwise, two Timex Expedition/Indiglo watches...and a few inexpensive pocket watches, such as a National Geographic hiking watch with a carabineer clip.

Tegimented Sinn U1 SDR today, compression screwed up the picture :P

I've grown very fond of Nite watches that are made in England. I especially like the MX10 201 that has a NATO number.

I'm jealous of everything in this picture. I find that xm mod to be spectacular, and the luminor on brown is just so casual-classy-style I have no words. You should also put in this pic the matching zippo case!!! :)

BTW: the carbon fiber friction folder I got from you is really an outstanding piece!!!

Ball Engineer Master Diver II. 60 Tritium vials! I can read with it in pure dark.

I have a nice Citizen Eco drive, Swiss Legend, and a knockaround Timex.

However, the one that gets the most wrist time lately is a B-Uhr flieger style watch from Parnis. It is a wind-up with a lefty crown, and even though it is a cheap-o, it is surprisingly accurate (loses less than a minute a week).

Sinn 103 St Sa (pic is of a different watch, but its close)

The last month I've been wearing the Citizen BM8180 to work each day. It's a great, simple and accurate watch and solar powered.

I have a Parnis Lefty Flieger as well, and it's actually more accurate than my Seiko 5.

Roger - yup, that's the watch I have. I didn't care for the deployant clasp strap that mine came with, so I replaced it with an ordinary one. Mine rattles a bit in its case, but functions surprisingly well for what it is, and I love the look.

I'd like to pick up a Seiko 5 Military like you have too. They pop up on Chronoshark sometimes for $69.

I'm a sucker for arabic numerals. Also for a good deal.

I've been wearing this 'Jaragar' on and off. It's very clear and classy.

What's a Jaragar? Well, the good news is it's NOT a copy. It's a house brand of a Chinese watch company, with the Standard Chinese Movement. I spotted this on the Bay (everyday.deal = seller)

That small dial on the left shows which day of the week. The bottom dial is the 24-hr format and the upper right is the date. They all work well.

This is not how I got it, though. It came with an automatic rotating winder which, truth is, didn't last more than two weeks. The gear wasn't meshed well and then it bound up when I tried to manually wind it. Uggh. So, before I scrapped it, I took my watch tool, took the back off, and was able to remove the whole spinning mechanism and it's related gears. Found out it's NOT required, but in addition to the manual movement. This off, it's now been converted to a manual from an auto. I've been using it without problems for a couple of months since.

I paid exactly $21.99 shipped to my door. Since it didn't last more than a month with the mechanism supplied, it was about $20 too much. ;) Like I said in my title: Bottom feeder.

This was a chance to practice my watch tech and more photo skills, too.

511. digital/analogue. I made my own leather cover to protect it. Love it!
It has two batteries and I can replace them myself.

There are some super sweet watches in here, gives me the itch... I just scored a stainless bracelet for my CSAR and its taken it to a whole new level, very nice imo.

Sorry about the reflection:

Suunto X10 Military(black face) great for Spooks, but for normal living, a very expensive red back light, also assists eye strain, still love the watch though.
