What watch do you wear?

Talking about clones.

This just arrived. It’s a modded Seiko MilSub marked Automatic 660ft/300m Submariner. 39.5mm case. 120-click bezel. Double dome acrylic crystal. Seiko SII NH35A automatic movement. I’ll check accuracy after 24 hours. I have no idea if it’s been pressure tested. The Oyster bracelet is as decent a copy as others I’ve seen. The links have screws, not friction pins. It adjusted easily to my 7-inch wrist.

Description aside, I am gobsmacked by this watch. Lume is as bright as my real Seikos which is saying a lot. Case thickness is 12.5mm from the solid case back to the 3mm high crystal.

It clearly doesn’t come from any Seiko catalog or archive and is a Rolex Submariner clone in its own right. Still, at three Bennies I’m hard pressed to say this thing doesn’t punch far above its weight. The seller lists on eBay and Etsy.

isn't that a mod company just using all real seiko parts? so basically a seiko just not assembled by them and without all the same seiko parts for a particular model. thought most of those mod companies did a somewhat of a wr check on them, but maybe not. guess best to ask them before more than just swimming with it.

it looks better than many seiko models to me....I like it.

I’m not sure. The case might be a Seiko SKX013 knockoff. Check out DIY Watch Club or Namoki. It’s a modder’s paradise.
