What watch do you wear?

Quick update: Still carrying this, still tethered to my belt loop on the same piece of paracord. Last battery change I messed something up, so it no longer lights up when I push the side button. For several weeks or maybe a month or two, my neural pathway for turning the light on to check it in the dark was still present, but I finally got the hint to stick, and my software no longer calls that broken line of code.

$20 Walmart Casio. Had it for at least seven years and changed the battery at least once.

Too rich for my blood. I've made $20 last almost ten years, I think that's hard to beat.

I have about 60 watches, you could let me send you one...

Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock?

I didn’t notice your previous quote above until you made this post. Thank you for the kind offer, and the even kinder nickname (🤣). I couldn’t accept a watch from you. Whatever you send would be too nice for me and not properly appreciated.

I’ve been wearing the Seiko Monster for a solid 10 years and while it’s been an excellent watch I’ve been wanting an upgrade for a bit now. There were several contenders on my mind but an Omega or a Tudor seemed to be what I was gravitating toward and this Planet Ocean had to be bought! I’ve never looked at these higher end watches in person so getting this in hand today really impressed me, the clarity of the Omega is wild, the depth of the colors and contrast with the polished parts is amazing.

I don’t wear the G-shock too often but it’s atomic time updating gives me a perfect reference for setting the mechanicals when they sit unused.

I could send you the Luminox dive watch that Gary Graley rejected 😂 He did use it while my watchmaker fixed his personal favorite GPW titanium watch, but then it got no wrist time after his was fixed and he returned it to me so someone else could enjoy it. Just let me know (nobody else is allowed to beg for it).

If I have a watch I’m removing the band and attaching it to my belt loop. Wrist wear is not for this guy
