What watch do you wear?

I love the Glycine Airman. One of the coolest watches ever. The originals are extraordinary. I came *so close* to buying a 1950s vintage Airman Special I saw in a shop in NYC back in 2018. The OG steel 24 hr bezel. 36mm perfection.

For the longest time I wanted a Glycine Airman - vintage or new - but they were priced out of my reach. When Invicta acquired Glycine some dealers on eBay were dumping them for very low prices presumably to clear their inventory, so I picked up this Airman 18.

Case is about 39mm, automatic ETA movement. Few things I like over the original Airmans; screw down set/winding crown - oversized, water resistant to 200m, sapphire crystal. Flecks on crystal are dust, this one is still mint. Going to put a different strap on it just haven't decided which one.

Cool!

I kinda want that one. Do they all have the same calendar wheel or do the North America ones get Mon-Tues only.
this ones an older japan market fugu....so English and Japanese calendar and 8203 movement..no hacking.

the modern version has 8204 with hacking and depending what country the date wheels are different.

in Canada id expect you'd get English and French by Canadian law......

I don't know if that applies. The only watch I have with day/date came from the USA and was made in Australia. It's French/English. All my Gshocks are just English but they're digital.

There was a white dial Fugu that caught my eye two towns over so next trip I'm going to take a second long look.
