Well, that does look familiar!

That sheath is one special for Clay, as he requested the blade forward and pivot end up approach. It also is made for the Large New Style Sebenza, and as with most of the sheaths I make, the clip and in this case, lanyard are not able to stay on the knife.

The Small Sebenza is smaller and so, the Celtic emblem will not fit on that smaller size sheath. I like that emblem and the Indian about the most.

Thanks guys!

The Umfaan's aren't doing to bad either, here is one I made special for a friend of Clay's. He just got the Canadian Umfaan and wanted to have the decorated side showing so this one was made to have shiny side out and he wanted to have a Maple Leaf on the sheath so I came up with this;

Of course, the one inserted is mine, the 1999 model.

Can't wait for you to stop playing with your new wood inlay Sebenza, so you can make the sheath for my small decorated....!!!

Shucks, Gary . . . now I don't get to post a "What the Well Dressed Umfaan is Wearing This Year" topic. You did it for me! I'm still gonna' take a picture of the Canadian Umfaan in the maple leaf sheath and may consider posting it here later. The sheath should arrive tomorrow or next day . . . looking forward to it!

Hermie asked that I post this for him, he is on Webtv and something with that isn't allowing him to post, so here is a special sheath that he asked me to create for him, playing off the Comet design with a little twist;

Thanks Fred,

Gary, really did a fantastic job on my sheath. For some reason i was not able to post a photo of the sheath Gary, was more than kind to post this for me. I decided to have a flap included on my baby's new home for two reasons. #1 The added security. #2 my wife threatened to string me up if i didn't!!!. Gary, thanks again

Hermie . . . that's a nice sheath, but when G2 builds one for you, that goes without saying!

Finally got a picture of my G2 sheath complete with the Canadian Umfaan . . . left a little of the handle sticking out of the sheath to better display the maple leaves.

Gary does good work . . . I feel privileged to be a customer of his!

Nice pic Ralph! and love that Canadian Umfaan!

When I went to make the sheath for Ralph I opted to use the maple leaf from the Canadian flag instead of trying to make the one on the knife, a real pain to tool around that leaf! and then to dye it with red leather dye.

Dressy knife you have there!

Do you have a pattern for that Interwoven sheath above or do you do it all by hand? That is some tremendous detail, I'm impressed.

Oh the one way at the top, sorry misread your post, yes it's a leather stamp that I picked up, very nice detail in that, I don't think I could tool one that fine, that small and look near as nice.

Nice eye Spark! It's one of my favorite stamps.

I've been fly fishing for years and was fortunate to purchase a small fly sebenza from Chief some months ago. G2 built a sheath for it.

And look at what he put on the back of the sheath.

That fish has shoulders.

Not sure I ever caught a trout that large. Anyway, that's another good job by Gary Graley . . . and I appreciate it!
