I have used the corkscrew before as a crude marlin spike to undo knots.

Does anyone here ever use the corkscrew on their Vic?
I used to like and prefer the phillips over the corkscrew, but using them both I have learned you can use the corkscrew for many things (true multitool) but the phillips for only one thing and how often do you need that?
If I had to have it and could choose, I'd prefer the phillips in-line and not on the back![]()
I could be talked into going Spartan/Camper instead of Tinker/Hiker, except that I can think of at least one use for a phillips screwdriver and I've never managed to come up with any good ideas for the corkscrew (I don't drink wine).
I'm always looking for good ideas to steal. So what are some good ideas of things to do with the corkscrew?
I also prefer Vic, their knives just feel more solid and better made to me, and my Vics seem to hold a better edge than my Wenger. Maybe its just me but the Wengers have always felt more plastic-like to me
