I'm hoping for a Schempp Rock as my first knife for 2015, but I will settle for a Schempp Tuff. I plan on greatly expanding the collection this year. :pirate:

What's your First Spyderco of 2015 going to be?

For some strange reason I got my eyes set on a Des Horn. I like the Art-Deco kind of lines.

It will likely be a Native 5 or Roadie for me. Unless I manage to catch a Yojimbo in stock first.

Well, I just got the newK05 Utility knife in PE and SE, so it depends on what comes out next, and there's nothing else "in stock" anywhere at the moment that strikes my fancy, so it either going to be a Q or Spyderkey variant that I don't already have and don't get out bid on, or whichever among the brown G-10 Stretch, K08 Santoku, Autonomy, and Rescue 3 pops up on dealer shelves first.

Keeping close eyes on pricing of the Worker sprint and a Goddard Sprint...but a Yellow Salt 1 may be the first. I generally hate yellow but may go with it to differentiate it quickly from my plethora of black FRN Spydies... Would LOVE to find a used one for a good price!

That's a question that has been on my mind for the last week or so. It's likely that i will buy one Spyderco this year. As I am trying to spend less on knives these days, I have more than enough really, I probably won't but two. So for that reason choosing wisely is important.
I have wanted a Police model for more years than I can remember so it's deffenetly at the list. The Military is another one I have wanted for a while and would probably be a better choice for my edc needs and general use but for some reason the Police model calls to me.
I also miss my Endura so that is a possibility. It was a great edc folder when I wanted something bigger than my beloved Delica. The Native 5 and Manix are also on my short list.
So my answer is that I am not sure yet but that I look forward to having and using which ever one I decide to go with.

All great choices but if you have never had a Military you should try one out, they are nice. For the first couple of days after receiving the Millie I sat and compared it to my Endura 4. The designs are very similar with the Military being more robust and about an inch longer over all. If you liked your Endura you will love the Military.

Whichever is first to come out this year of these 3: Autonomy, Foundry or PITS.
I've also been slacking on my fixed blade Spydie collecting so I've got my eye out for a Hossom Forester that won't break the bank.

Thanks for the reply and the advice. I will definetly keep this in mind. I have heard a lot of good things about the Military. It would probably easily cover my daily as well as outdoor needs. I am really more of a user than a collector, I just happen to have more knives than I can really use. The Military would be a big upgrade for me and I'm sure a great choice.

I like the Hossom but they are getting really tough to find at a reasonable price.
