what will be your next fixed blade purchase?

A Big Chis 3V Woodsman and an AA Forge Large 5160 camp knife with dark green canvas micarta.

There are 3 people who want the Gossman knives...What is unique about these blades?

I don't know if you did any research on Gossman, but his knives look about as close to perfect as a wilderness knife should look (IMHO).
I beleive that is the reason so many people mentioned his name. I have even thought about having a large one made for me before.

I wish Eric Fehrman would offer a 2" wide 10.5" long Final Judgement, or even just a 9.5 " long 2" wide Final Judgement. To give the knife more chopping ability for chopping game/wood on extended week long stays without a base camp.

Anyway, Gossman knives sure do have that "been there, done that" look to them.

My next fixed will be another Strider MFS. It is the best fixed I've ever owned (of many). I was selling a few knives & showing them to a buddy. The MFS WAS NOT for sale but he REALLY wanted it so I sold it. I still have an ESEE 3 but it certainly does not scratch the itch!

Probably the Condor Warlock. Although; called a machete it will make a better chopper with it's 3/16" blade.

I just ordered a RMD, and next on the list is either one of the Scrapyard Sykco models or a custom bushcraft blade from one of the forum knifemakers

I've got a lot of fixed blade knives in my collection, almost all bought to be collectors and not users. I can always find more that I like and want to add to the collection, I just don't have enough money to go around.

I've got some ideas to buy more fixed blade knives to actually use as users, but no immediate plans:
1) I've thought about a small EDC that I can carry in my pocket which means max. length of about 6.5". I want something relatively thick in 1095 steel, but with a keen point. The TOPS Ute appeals to me but I've found others as well, some by TOPS.
2) After reading the Becker forum here I've thought about buying a BK9 to play with, and something like a BK17 for camping use.

I have a Glock 78 that is on the way now. Next up is an OKC-3S bayonet in probably a month. If the Busse Team Gemini LBS is still available in September, I will be ordering one of them for my birthday.

One made of Uddeholm vanadis 4E and one made of Böhler K490.

Just have to find a maker :)

I really am not a fixed blade fan, but couldnt wait for my Street Beat to come in, which it did the other day.... GREAT production knife....

Yesterday I received a CRKT Folts Minimalist (wharncliffe). The next one? Maybe I'll do a 180 and get a Becker of some sort.
