What will you be using?

Either a Pat Crawford One Hand knife or a Neely Stinger.

I'll probably use whatever was left on the table from X-Mas Eve.

Plan to use my faithful CUDA EDC (D2 A.G.Russell version) for opening presents. will have the Strider GB on hand "just in case" ;)

Probably will end up being my small Sebenza, or the MT Scarab. Both have great edges for slicing. I'll also have my Victorinox Swiss Tool to handle the wire twist ties that the kids toys will be secured with, and for battery installation.

No knives for Christmas this year, as all the money went for family. Oh, well...

Today, a BM 520 did all the present opening. It will probably get used tomorrow, too, since immediate family makes up a small group.
When some of us exchanged gifts at church, Sunday, a 940Ti did the honors.
I'm thinking something smaller like the Calypso Jr. ltwt. for passing around at the big family get together this weekend, though.
Everyone knows how a lockback works, plus I get a little nervous around people who aren't used to a larger knife when they use one, and hold or point it every which way, not realizing that sometimes they're an inch from a trip to the emergency room. I'd prefer the presents get opened without any unnecessary bloodshed;)

Probably my SS PE Cricket. It's little beak bites right into the wrapping paper. In fact I've been using it to cut paper for wrapping presents. However, I'm getting some knives for Christmas, so the Cricket might sit on the side line after I open up something like my SERE 2000, or BM806D2, or Spyderco Native, or... well you get the idea. :)

I used my RJ Martin Avenger, my primary EDC, on a rather "tamper resistant" gift that our family gave to my mother-in-law this evening.

LOL, you shoulda seen the tape, bubble-wrap, etc. just simply seem to MELT when the blade touched it.

It's like I took a laser and cut open the package, LOL!

RJ knows how to make a SHARP knife.

Knowing RJ's edges, you could have opened a cement truck without much work at all. But then again, wet cement doesn't make that nice of a gift...
