What would make you give up knife collecting?

As for me, I don't just aimlessly collect knives; I'm doing scientific research. I'm researching how many knives my house can hold before it bursts. Once my house bursts I'll stop buying knives.

The only way I would lose interest in knives would be if one of my kids got ahold of one and got hurt. Knives have been in my blood for a loooong time so I don't see any end in sight for this hobby. (No Thanks to all you guys - now it's not just a hobby, it's an ADDICTION!)

as boriqua said...unemployment!fortunately, i'm secure along those lines at present.i have not bought a knife for nearly a month! rare for me.i've been tottally satisfied [also rare] with recent purchases. a history buff, and fellow Scot[i'm Scots-Irish,English, hope that counts!] tells me there was a "blade-wielder" somewhere prominantly in my lineage

i do kinda' eat and breath blades.I am a descendant of a fine man that came from Dublin to fight in the American Revolution, for our freedom, of course. i guess knives and firearms are in my blood!

a cat almost always blinks when hit in the head with a ball-peen hammer.

the only thing better than a good knife, is a good woman.
