What would you buy if you had a 45% off coupon?

I'm glad you clarified and glad it was sorted out. I was a little worried because your OP read like customer service wasn't taking care of you.

Yeah, the letter was a little misleading so I'm glad I called. There was an option to just order by mailing it in, if anybody else is ever in this situation definitely call and talk.
 
That sucks they couldn't fix it. 45% off msrp is basically what you can buy most knives for. I'd keep the knife because that's not much of a deal.

Edit: I read your update. They hooked you up after all. I was a little disappointed based off your first post. You got a fantastic deal I think. I'm glad to know they spine test them.
 
The guy I talked to said they spine test every knife they make and recommended I test every knife I buy. He actually called me back because he had said at first the domino failed a spine test every 3 times or so, but after talking to me he tested it again and couldn't make it fail.

I hope you leave proper deserving feedback for the seller of that knife... that is unless all of the modifications and problems were clearly disclosed.
