What would you do? Help Please

I made a deal to hold a knife for someone, (outside U.S.) until they could send payment. I wait a week, they send out payment. I wait another week to receive payment. I get payment and the money order was not signed. What would you do?

1) Forge signature to cash it.
2) Send back money order and sell knife to individual in the U.S. who wants it.

I would ask the buyer if it would be OK to sign his name if says OK then do it....I would wait for the funds to clear before shipping....
 
If the MO isn't from someone you know personally, I wouldn't even consider signing it. Send it back and wait, or sell the knife to someone else. Signing it (even with permission) could open up a can-of-worms that really isn't worth the headache. If you do get permission to sign it, before you do, please be sure that it is from the person it is supposed to be from. Check references thoroughly! If someone else you know has done business with this person, verify email addresses, phone #s, etc. and don't put yourself in a position to get burned!

I want to thank everyone for their input. I've decided to send back the money order and sell to the guy in the U.S. Another reason for this decision is that 1) I'm not going to sign the MO and 2) I'm not going to wait another 2 weeks, 1 week to send it back and 1 week to get it back again. I've waited two weeks as it is. Thanks again for the advice.
