What would you do in this case??

  • Leave them as is, admire them through the plastic - They made it this long undisturbed

I'm usually not one to just stockpile or hoard stuff I never use, but in this case, I think the fact that the set is complete and "very collectible," I wouldn't use the knives, only admire them--probably out of the packaging.

I like the idea of preserving bits and pieces of our mundane human history for future generations, and it's things like this knife set that help do that, in my opinion.
