What would you folks do with this old worn out 110. I thinking of sending back home form a new blade. It doesn't have any sentimental value to me. It feels like the handle is thinner and lighter, really like feel and patina on this one.

Here it is back home from Buck. I think it will live in this sheath that I got off Ebay with a 112.

If you want to keep it and use it, send it back for a new blade. Too bad about the blade, it looks like a 440C version from what I can see on my screen. I will bet Buck will send it back to you looking good.
 
That handle is begging for a new blade - send it in for the Buck treatment! OH
 
Ask them if they can send you back the old worn blade. It would be a great conversation piece.

I agree with all of the above. I think Buck would fix it up right.
 
It's hard to look at that old worn out blade. Yes, it's time for a new one.

Will it cost or do they condider this under warranty? I wonder if there are blade options like in the custom shop?
 
The blade upgrade is a no-go, I asked. I've got boxed up and ready to send off. I have no problem paying the fee they ask for, they've already done my 426 for nothing, I figure I owe Buck. They are a good company to deal with, I wish there was more like them.

I wasn't thinking concerning the warranty. There is no defect, just hard use. I would gladly pay to have it brought back to life too. It's nice they offer that service.
After reading the other post, regarding upgraded blades, it makes perfect sense now. Thanks for the info.
I can't wait to see it with the new blade!
 
I have a brand-new puma lock blade and it broke after used it twice to cut an apple send yours back
