What would you folks do? UP Date in OP

I'm still puzzled over that blade. It must have been sharpened daily over a number of years. It would be interesting to know the work it did to require that much sharpening.

Gardog can show how a lifetime of industrial cable scraping will wear a 112.

Thread reminds me of the old saying...

This is the axe my grandfather made.
My father replaced the handle,
and I replaced the blade.

What would you folks do with this old worn out 110. I thinking of sending back home form a new blade. It doesn't have any sentimental value to me. It feels like the handle is thinner and lighter, really like feel and patina on this one.

Here it is back home from Buck. I think it will live in this sheath that I got off Ebay with a 112.

Sweet.... Old frame with new blade. And love the curved bottom sheath.

U did good..

The new blade looks great! The bolsters are all shined up and the wood nice and clean. A new beginning for an old knife. Better than brand new in my opinion. Enjoy!
