What would you get for $500

I'd save an extra $75, and get one of these:

Pretty knife, but it looks weak, like it would break at the hole under vigorous use. With the FFG and the hole right there where the FFG ends, it creates a huge stress riser.

If given $500 to spend on knives, I would buy several different kinds, probably a Bark River Bravo 1 and a serrated Salt fixed knife, for 2.

I'm sure that Anso is a good knife. But it just doesn't do it for me.

Does anyone have pictures of Yuna's that show the size? Like compared to every day objects? That would really help.

I don't have any pix of any of my Yuna's next to every day objects. I hope someone does.

Right, I've been saving up a little in anticipation for the Dutch Knife Exhibition.

So I was wondering: What you YOU get for $500 approx?

So far I've been drooling over Yuna's, Amherst's and 1 or two custom makers that are from around here.

But what would YOU spend it on? (Especially if it was your first over $150 knife)

Were abouts is it gonna be?.
What makers are gonna have stalls?.
Any info Thanks.

for 5C 's i'd get a bunch of difrent knifes. couple spidy's damascus leek maybe a BM and possibly a fixed blade.

Use, definately. Spending that amount of money and then just letting it sit is NOT something that's going to happen for me. I'm a fairly light user anyway so I'm not too worried abotu damaging anything too much.

I'd get an XM18 or a small Sebenza and a Paper Wheel set-up.

Or I'd get a couple of Spyderco Salt Models, and a Bravo-2 or BRKT Golok.

Or I'd get a CGFBM.

Or I'd get a NWA Woodsman and a Laconico custom or that JK heavy duty hunter/camp knife I've been drooling over on the exchange.

Or some other combination of the above.

:D

Get a CRK Umnumzaan. customer service (not that you'll ever need it with this knife but it is there when you do) is great. Knife bomb proof. Lock butter smooth and quiet to boot. Perfect EDC size for Med to Lrg hands.
