What would you like in a Custom Scales?

Micarta for me. Maybe a few texture options, bow drill divot option and colors. If it'd be the same shape, or similar and will fit the same kydex sheaths, like the BK2 sheath, that'd be great.

My thing, is that the scales from KaBar are expensive already, if these scales could be similar or lower price?? That'd be awesome.

that would be great but just using materials you already have in molds you already have makes perfect sense and wouldn't require any extra work or cost anything

I'd really be interested in getting a set for my BK14. As far as material goes, I really don't have a preference. I'd rather not do any work on anything that I get, so having them finished by the time they reach me would be awesome. That being said, it all really comes down to ergonomics for me? I don't mind so much how it looks. Something in plain black or a dark grey would look real pretty on the black coating of the Eskabar if you ask me. As long as it's comfortable to hold and, got enough grip, and I can still shove it in the sheathe and be good to go.

Put me down for a set!

I just think kabar is missing a opportunity by not using the ZK green handle matierial to make a run of green Becker handles

I voted "nice design", but for me that typically means texture over non-functional flash.
My preferences run toward micarta, G10, Wood, wood laminate.
Personally, I think the Kabar micarta grips are way overpriced at retail, and I bet you could do quite a brisk business selling something more sophisticated directly to the customer at the same price point.
